I’ll share my experience as a boy amid the ruins of Japan in the aftermath of the Second World War. The boy is the son of an American G.I. and a Yokohama shop girl. Caught between two cultures, he’ll struggle to establish his own identity amid racism from both sides and difficult family dynamics that ensue. It’s complicated!
