After the showdown with a rough crowd at his reading at the Lutheran Church in Narrowsburg, NY last weekend, Sayonara Cowboy heads west across the Delaware to tame the rowdy artsy crowd at the Wayne County Arts Alliance in Honesdale, PA.

On Saturday, June 29, WCAA member, and Greentown, PA resident William Yukikazu Fellenberg will be reading from his newly published memoir, Sayonara Cowboy, a coming-of-age memoir about a boy born to an American G.I. and a Yokohama shopgirl in Occupation Japan.  We follow the boy as he navigates the turbulent waters of racism, familial complexities, and the search for identity in the aftermath of World War II, growing up in Japan and America.

The reading will begin at 5pm, followed by a Q&A moderated by Curator Debby Pollak, and artist reception.  Come join us for this special event!
